Last week, our heavy equipment operator team succeeded in transporting and installing 3 housing modules in Kangiqsujuaq on behalf of a regional organization. The challenge was significant to slide the modules weighing 74,000 pounds each to the installation site located in the upper portion of the village. The slippery conditions and important quantities of snow combined with the steep slope of the road made the operation delicate, but the modules were able to be transported and secured safely by the team.
